About the Business Unit:
Operations & Services is a major part of the company’s first line customer facing activities and has a significant role to play in both the achievement of customer satisfaction as well as service delivery as defined in the annual business plans.
The Business Installation and Field Services team offers installation and maintenance of a full range of complex and sophisticated solutions for Ooredoo’s Strategic Accounts, Commercial, Government and SME & SOHO customers.
About the Role:
The role will be responsible for working directly with Pre-Sales, the Service Design Architect, Vendors and Customers in order to roll out, test and document offered solutions to Ooredoo’s Customers.
You should have at least 5 years of work experience as Technical Architect or similar role, experience in the Telecommunications and Services Industry. You should have experience in Custom solution design, architecture, network integration and verification across wireless and wireline technologies and knowledge and experience in designing Managed LAN solutions with wired and wireless switching network using multi-vendor solutions. You should have knowledge of IP addressing, sub-netting, routing protocols (i.e. OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.), MPLS, QoS, Multicast, VLAN, IPv6, VPLS and VPRN, Switching, Security, Wireless, VoIP, UC and collaboration, knowledge of multi-vendor solutions such as Cisco, Huawei, Ericsson, Juniper, etc., knowledge of UC architecture, deployment models, with all the associated services and integrations (specifically Cisco & Avaya). Unified Communications including IPT, SIP, IM, Email and Video Conferencing, Contact center. Audio Conferencing, recording with multi-vendor products such as Cisco and Avaya. You should have good awareness of VOIP technology (Nortel, Avaya & Cisco) and its implementation in a Cisco Routed / Switched environment. You should have knowledge in Security Information Event Management Services, Security Infrastructure Support Services, Firewall Management Services, Unified Threat Management Services, Vulnerability Management Services, Incident Investigation and Response Management Services.
Minimum requirement is B.E. or B. Tech. or BS in Computer Science or Electronics and Telecommunication. Must have valid CCIE and CCNP. CCDP or equivalent Certification is a must, CCDE would be added value. Preferably ITIL V.3 expert Certification level.
