What are my responsibilities?
Develop Customer Relationship (Identify new customers and develop existing ones).
Lead Sales process end-to-end at Customer. Serve as first and primary contact with customer.
Build long-term and high trust relationships with customers, especially with key decision makers.
Responsible for all customer communication and coordinate/steer other Siemens personnel.
Identify concrete project decision process, stakeholder and evaluation criteria at customer.
Engage with customer early in decision process to gain influence on customers’ decision criteria/tenders.
Influence spec., decision makers / key stakeholders /consultants on project level.
Support Customer with technical & commercial data of Siemens offerings, including Indicative offers etc.
Support rolling forecast process with transparency on Customer, Region, country levels.
Built up project pipeline and sales funnel; Identify leads and opportunities (e.g. market/industry/customer trends, etc.).
Identify requirement of capture team & aligned service approach / multiple BU / EPC channel approach etc.
Prepare and present Go/No-Go to Regional Management; support in bid-no bid and other LOA approvals etc.
Develop and communicate Division offerings and (business) value for customer.
Support hub sales in developing a suitable pricing strategy to secure order at highest possible margin.
Support hub sales with Bid/No Bid information and to get approvals.
Co-operates with other Siemens units (cross-selling).
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Academic qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from reputable University.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales & Management.
Experience as a lead of technical group/area of a sales team.
Extensive knowledge about rotating equipments.
Knowledge of Saudi Arabian utility/renewable market in general.
A minimum of recent 5 years of experience in Sales & Management.
Excellent Communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Very good presentation skills.
Has theoretical and practical expertise in interpersonal relations: effective and professional communication, presentation and conflict management.
Knows how to research and compile information about existing and targeted customers. Is able to judge competently business opportunities with new customers, is able to assess probabilities of closure accurately ideally with knowledge of planning and forecasting methodologies and tools.
Flexible to travel when required across the country, regionally or internationally.
Understands relevant financial models. Able to maximize positive impact on Siemens financial KPI’s. Able to apply investment theory knowledge to quantify and communicate customer value (e.g. NPV, IRR, ROI, etc.), Pricing, customer specific Financial Value Preposition.
