Our client is a global market leader Chemicals Company with an established presence in the Middle East. They are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Area Sales Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Strategy related focus:
Be aware and support the implementation of the company strategies (both Global and Regional level) within one’s scope of responsibility
Core Responsibilities / Tasks:
Leadership tasks (for managers):
Leadership / Coaching / Development of the team. Live a positive management culture and drive employee engagement. Own responsibility for direct reports. Lead, couch and develop team as well as reach out to other functional teams with leadership and experience.
Functional / Operational tasks:
Assist the customers for the selection and usage of company products.
Schedule proper customer follows up.
Attend the sales meetings.
Evaluate the market situations and requirements.
Confirm the satisfaction of the customer in terms of service, quality and price.
Prepare sales reports.
Introduce new products to the customer professionally.
Maintain and monitor customer prices.
Works in close coordination with his manager on implementing company plans and targets.
Assume responsibility for area sales performance and target achievement.
Assume responsibility for all sales activity in given market sector.
Prepare weekly / monthly sound reports as per company standards.
Coordinate with sales coordinator, logistics and productions to secure all requested deliveries.
Provide sales future sales forecast based on current sales activities
Keep close contacts with customers through planned visits.
Answers in timely manner all clients’ requests, offers and complaints.
Responsibility of collection of all due payments.
Maintain existed customer base and increase customer base and customer portfolio in line with company growth strategies.
Reports all market relate activities to direct manager. – Recognize customer / product problems and react effectively to solve it with management and technical department.
Prepare daily delivery schedule.
Provide assistance in setting suitable price for certain products
Adhere to company safety and sustainability policies.
Education & training required plus additional time-extensive job-related training including formal examination (e.g. PhD, BS – MS, MBA)
Bachelor in Engineering (Civil is preferred).
5 -7 years’ experience working with similar systems in a similar business environment
Construction Chemicals experience is a must.
Fluent in English, Arabic
Good analytical and negotiation skills
Customer oriented, Dynamic
Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
Team work player.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in sales or concrete technology is a plus.
Willingness to work at sales field.
